Wilson Elser | Chicago office is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to manage a litigation caseload from start to finish, working with partners on complex projects and handling court appearances and depositions. The position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited Law School, admission to practice in Illinois, and 3+ years of general liability and related experience.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited Law School.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Illinois.
• 3+ years of general liability, construction, trucking and transportation experience.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Legal project management experience is helpful.
• Trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects.
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
