Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a medium to large accounting department.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint; advanced data mining & reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete, accurate financial analyses and project reporting for audits, tax, compliance and other requirements.
• Resolve accounting issues using dual automated systems and subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; implement business process improvements.
• Review monthly and annual closing processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist GL Manager and supervise GL Analyst I in daily backup tasks.
