Job summary

Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY is seeking a fundraising professional to support donor relations and drive development efforts. The role involves collaborating with leadership to cultivate major gifts, manage donor databases, and expand funding streams while raising community awareness of the Food Bank's mission.

You will work within a collaborative Development Department, participate in special events, and contribute to strategic planning to meet fundraising goals in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related work experience in fundraising, business development, and/or marketing.
• Strong interpersonal, speaking, writing, and computer skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with current and potential donors.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and relate well with the public.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising, including donor relations.
• Be a team player and provide leadership within the Development Department.
• Communicate the impact of fundraising efforts to internal and external stakeholders.
• Dedicate to raising community awareness and building support.
• Identify and cultivate diverse funding streams, including individuals, foundations, corporations, regional employers, and public sector.
• Monitor fundraising activities and evaluate progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to align development strategies with the organizational plan.
