Job summary

American Society of Transplantation (AST) is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and marketing efforts. The role focuses on developing donor engagement strategies, expanding corporate sponsorships, and enhancing brand awareness to drive revenue growth.

The position reports to the Chief Development Officer and works across departments to build strategic partnerships, engage stakeholders, and deliver measurable fundraising outcomes in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in nonprofit management, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, corporate sponsorships, or marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to set fundraising goals, strategies, and track progress toward objectives.
• Identify corporate sponsorships, grants, and other funding opportunities.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors and corporate sponsors.
• Leverage relationships with C-suite executives to build strategic donor partnerships.
• Close sponsorships and major gifts to meet fundraising targets.
• Grow a portfolio of donors and sponsors for long-term engagement.
• Coordinate with communications to ensure brand-consistent campaigns.
• Plan donor recognition events and cultivate partnerships.
