Headwater Science in Durham, NC is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our Technology team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance a suite of internal and external web applications that power Headwater Science’s clinical and data operations, delivering scalable, user-friendly experiences that enable data-driven healthcare innovation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Frontend/Full Stack Engineer with frontend focus.
• Expertise in React or Angular.
• Solid command of HTML and CSS with responsive design.
• Experience with APIs and data visualization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications built with React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Python FastAPI.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into high-quality web solutions.
• Implement new features, optimize components, and resolve UI/UX bugs.
• Contribute to development processes, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (GitLab, Docker, AWS, S3, CloudFront).
• Collaborate to improve Headwater Science’s Platform Reporting visualization tool.
