Job summary

THG is seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer & Technology Support in New York for a hybrid role. You will help build frontend applications with JavaScript frameworks and provide onsite tech support to staff at our New York office.

You will collaborate with senior engineers on headless ecommerce projects, improve performance and accessibility, and assist with IT tasks including Microsoft 365 and device management. A hands-on, versatile tech background is ideal.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in desktop support or on-site technology support.
• Experience building frontend applications using JavaScript (React, Vue, or similar).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend apps using JavaScript/ES6+ and frameworks like React or Vue.
• Contribute to fast, scalable, accessible headless ecommerce experiences.
• Work with senior engineers to understand system architecture and APIs.
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, security, and observability.
• Provide hands-on onsite technology support to employees.
• Support Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) and device onboarding/offboarding.
