Job summary

Justworks in New York City is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and scale frontend web apps for both internal and public use. You will collaborate with product and design to deliver on-brand experiences and raise the bar for UI quality.

You’ll own implementing high-fidelity designs, exploring UI patterns, and contributing to hiring and growing the frontend team as the product evolves. This role is based in our NYC office with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of frontend development experience.
• Mastery of JS/HTML/CSS and at least one frontend framework such as React or Vue.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend web apps for internal and public use.
• Gather requirements and collaborate with your team lead to produce clean, on-brand user experiences.
• Implement designs with a high level of fidelity.
• Research design patterns and propose technical solutions to common web UI/UX problems.
• Code, test, and deploy modern web apps.
• Help hire and develop our growing team.
