Job summary

Verizon is seeking an Associate Director of Franchise & ROW to lead end-to-end lifecycle management for public franchises and private rights-of-way supporting long-haul fiber and AI network infrastructure. You will direct cross-functional teams, negotiate with LFAs and landowners, and ensure compliant CLM across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant ROW/franchise/public utility experience.
• Proven leadership of teams including talent development and vendor management.
• Deep knowledge of contract lifecycle for public franchise agreements and private easements.
• Understanding of municipal ordinances, franchise statutes, FOIA analyses.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic planning, acquisition, governance and lifecycle management for franchises and ROW.
• Negotiate with LFAs, state DOTs, landowners, and manage CLM across lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional governance with Legal, Regulatory, Risk, Engineering, Finance, and Tax.
• Audit, reporting, and compliance including bond/insurance, fees, records, and renewals.
• Oversee vendor performance and budget compliance.
• Drive the Be Bold standard in regulatory challenges and stakeholder negotiations.
