Job summary

Western Union is seeking a Manager, FP&A Retail Strategic to lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for the Strategic Retail unit in the United States, with an option to base in Atlanta or Miami. This role partners with commercial and retail leaders to drive profitability, customer growth, and strategic decision-making.

You will develop financial models, provide actionable insights, and support cross-functional initiatives while ensuring adherence to financial policies and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in finance or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
• Experience developing and maintaining financial models and analyses.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, automation, and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and operating plan processes for Strategic Retail.
• Perform detailed financial analyses to support business objectives.
• Partner with Retail and Sales leaders to drive performance.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and management reports.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations.
• Analyze revenue, margin, expenses, and investments for improved results.
• Support customer profitability analyses and strategic account planning.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and presentations for leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Participate in Finance and CFO organization projects.
• Provide guidance and oversight to team members as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
