Job summary

Capital Bank N.A., headquartered in Maryland, seeks a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in Rockville to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for Windsor and related divisions. You will partner with senior leaders to provide decision-support insights and drive performance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least 5 years in corporate finance or accounting, GAAP expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking and/or accounting; general banking experience preferred
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience and understanding of financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cash flows
• Exposure to finance and accounting is necessary

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance and Windsor leadership to create financial plans and forecasts
• Ownership of the financial model and financial modeling process for Windsor, as well as integrating modeling within Oracle EPM
• Create monthly Windsor Board report with financial, operational, sales, & other information as needed and other entities where applicable
• Lead monthly touchpoint meeting with Finance, Windsor leadership, and other areas of Capital Bank to discuss and review financial performance
• Complete annual plan/budget and forecast cycles in coordination with the finance team
• Assist with strategic planning process and creation of deliverables
• Complete ad hoc financial analyses
• Support strategic initiatives and cost-benefit analyses and scenario modeling
• Analyze variances between actual and forecasted results, identifying trends and opportunities
