Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to partner with the merchandising organization and drive customer and financial outcomes for Nordstrom Made and brand-owned inventory initiatives.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced retail environment. It requires leadership experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to influence across merchandising and finance while working in a hybrid Seattle office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience (retail finance preferred).
• 3+ years of management or supervision experience.
• Strategic thinker with ability to coach across management levels.
• Proficient in Tableau/SQL/Power BI; MS Excel mastery.

Responsibilities

• Create action plans with merchandising leadership to drive growth and profitability.
• Deliver forecasting accuracy and actionable performance insights for profitability.
• Lead expense management across merchandising, including long-term strategy and near-term forecasting.
• Partner with Finance and Merchandising teams to support sales, margin, and inventory.
• Develop financial models, analytics, and ad hoc analyses.
• Drive process improvements and standardize reporting.
• Provide leadership and coaching for team members.
