Job summary

Contemporary Staffing Solutions seeks a Foreclosure Paralegal to join our client in a hybrid, direct hire role based in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. The position guides lender and servicer foreclosure matters through each stage of the legal process, handling a substantial caseload and coordinating with attorneys and fellow paralegals.

The ideal candidate has five years of NJ/NY foreclosure experience, strong deadline discipline, and proficiency with loan servicing and foreclosure case management

Qualifications

• At least five years of foreclosure experience within a law firm handling mortgage lender or loan servicer matters in NJ or NY.
• Ability to manage litigation-focused foreclosure matters from initial complaint through final stages.
• Experience using established loan servicing and foreclosure case management platforms.
• Familiarity with document management and legal practice management applications is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and workload management skills to support multiple attorneys in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large portfolio of New Jersey or New York foreclosure files with accurate records and deadlines.
• Prepare complaints, pleadings, correspondence, and other documents throughout foreclosure litigation.
• Coordinate communications among attorneys, borrowers, courts, clients, and other parties.
• Support three to four attorneys by organizing case activity and addressing documentation needs.
• Ensure consistent case handling by collaborating with other paralegals and keeping information up to date in management systems.
