Our firm is seeking a Permanent Hybrid Foreclosure & Collections Paralegal to join our dynamic team in New Jersey and New York. This role requires a unique blend of skills, including legal compliance, electronic filing systems, legal document preparation, and trial preparation. Proficiency with legal case management software and strong document review skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing foreclosure letters and legal documents, including stipulation settlements and post-judgment enforcement notices.
• Managing electronic filing systems and ensuring all documents are filed accurately and promptly.
• Assisting with trial preparation, including gathering evidence, organizing files, and coordinating with legal teams.
• Utilizing legal case management software to monitor cases, track deadlines, and maintain organized records.
• Ensuring legal compliance in all actions, with a focus on the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act and the New Jersey Condominium Act.
• Preparing affirmative defenses and other legal responses as necessary.
• Generating writs of execution, wage garnishments, and other post-judgment enforcement actions.
