Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks an Actuarial Analyst to support rating, pricing, valuation and forecasting. You’ll work with a team of actuaries to analyze health programs and collaborate with Network Management, Underwriting, Sales, Finance and Healthcare teams.

The role requires 2+ years of actuarial experience and exams toward ASA, with potential for hybrid or remote work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree as required.
• 2+ years of actuarial experience or related experience may be considered.
• Must have completed at least 3 exams towards the ASA attainment or ASA-equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses.
• Calculate premiums and reserves for new and existing plans.
• Provide support to senior actuaries and cross-functional teams as needed.
• Retrieve and validate data for rate filings and models; build model enhancements.
