Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks an Actuarial Analyst to support rating and pricing, valuation, healthcare economics, and financial forecasting. Under guidance, you apply math, statistics, and business principles to provide technical actuarial support.

You will collaborate with teams across underwriting, sales, finance, and healthcare, handle data for rate filings, prepare reports, and participate in the Actuarial Development Program as part of a Hybrid-Flex work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• Completed at least 3 actuarial exams toward ASA.
• Experience in actuarial analyses and healthcare economics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial research, experience studies, and analyses.
• Calculate premiums and reserves for new and existing plans.
• Validate data for rate filings and actuarial models; support ALR/UCL estimates.
