Blue Cross NC is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support rating, valuation, and financial forecasting. You will work with a team of actuaries and collaborate with Networks, Underwriting, Sales, Finance, and Healthcare teams.

Qualifikationen

• Performs actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations.
• Calculates premiums and reserves for new and existing plans.
• Supports senior analysts or actuaries as required.
• Retrieves and validates data for rate filings and models; builds enhancements and analyzes impact on products.
• Communicates filing status to stakeholders and transmits rate filings to regulators (NCDOI, CMS).
• Retrieves and validates data for monthly reports and for UCL and ALR calculations.
• Supports valuation by executing ALR models and verifying results; researches ALR assumptions and UCL estimates.
• Distributes reports and investigates trends and anomalies.
• Executes control activities to support Enterprise Risk Management.
• Provides analytic support for corporate projects.
• Participates in the Actuarial Development Program.
