Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks a Warranty/Recall Specialist to oversee fleet warranty and recall processes, liaise with manufacturers, and ensure timely claims. The role drives KPI reporting and collaborates with Fleet Operations, Asset Management, and Sourcing to maximize claims recovery.

The position requires 5–7 years in fleet program management, dealership warranty experience, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work is supported, with travel up to 20% and a base pay range of $73,700 to $104,633 per

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• Five to seven years of experience in fleet program management with a focus in recall/warranty management, procurement, asset management, or similar experience.
• Previous experience at a dealership with warranty experience or within the utilities sector preferred.
• Experience working with light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles with complex utility upfitting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Fleet management tools preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills required.
• Strong change management and process improvement skills.
• Leadership skills as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills necessary.
• Required to attend meetings in various locations, up to 20% travel; driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee fleet warranties processes, documentation, and claims.
• Manage filing and tracking of warranty/recall claims for XE fleet assets.
• Serve as SME for warranty procedures; update teams on requirements.
• Develop KPIs and analyze warranty data for compliance and savings.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, Fleet Ops, Asset Management, and XE stakeholders.
