GrowNYC is seeking a Fleet Operations Administrator to oversee a fleet of 24 vehicles, ensuring safety, compliance with DOT and regulations, and collaboration with the Wholesale Outbound Logistics team. The role involves coordinating vehicle management, maintenance, and incident response, with a focus on risk reduction and efficient operations.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of hands-on fleet experience, familiarity with NYC roads, and strong organizational and training abilities.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NYC streets and vehicle regulations/DOT directives.
• Experience in fleet management, logistics, or operations is highly desired.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fleet of 24 owned and leased vehicles (cars, vans, trucks) and ensure operational standards.
• Liaise with insurers and Safety & Risk Management; manage claims and fleet standards.
• Establish and enforce fleet management processes across departments.
• Oversee vehicle use, insurance requirements, and maintenance scheduling.
• Review daily pre-trip inspections and monitor vehicle status; maintain asset tracking.
