Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 2 years' experience advising undergraduate students.
• Familiarity with GW policies, procedures, and curriculum is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist students with navigating transitions and developing academic plans through individual and group advising.
• Maintain knowledge of GW rules, regulations, policies, and curricula.
• Track and manage student records (paper and electronic).
• Attend staff meetings and professional development to strengthen advising.
• Develop and coordinate programs and projects to improve student success and accessibility of advising.
• Collaborate with offices across the university on first-year experience activities.
