Howard University’s Office of Undergraduate Studies seeks an Academic and Career Advisor to provide integrated academic and career advising for an assigned undergraduate caseload. You will support persistence, progression, graduation, and post-graduate outcomes through proactive advising.

In this role, you will collaborate with faculty and student success units, utilize advising platforms and data dashboards, and ensure FERPA compliance while guiding students through major exploration and degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent).
• Master's degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated academic and career advising to an assigned undergraduate caseload.
• Support persistence, progression, graduation, and post-graduate outcomes through proactive advising.
• Maintain compliance with FERPA and advising protocols.
• Refer students to campus resources and track follow-through.
• Document advising interactions in the student information system.
