Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or in Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• PE license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection engineering designs including water supply and sprinkler systems.
• Act as QFPE for federal projects.
• Review designs for compliance and sign off.
• Create fire protection and life safety engineering designs.
• Evaluate systems with HydraCAD, HydraCALC.
• Collaborate with sales to create proposals and review RFPs.
• Meet with clients to review design needs.
• Perform site assessments.
• Provide guidance to junior staff.
