Job summary

Code Red Consultants is seeking a Project Manager to lead code consulting projects and manage client relationships across diverse building sectors nationwide. The role emphasizes delivering technical deliverables, coordinating budgets and schedules, and collaborating with project directors, engineers, and AHJs.

The position is hybrid across multiple offices with travel to client sites as needed. You will mentor staff and contribute to continuous learning and career growth within a respected fire

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of code consulting, fire and life safety, and project management.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience coordinating project tasks, schedules, deliverables, and client communications.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate technical deliverables for AHJs, designers, contractors, and owners.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to client and project sites across the country.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned code consulting projects and own performance, client service, schedule, budget, and quality with senior support.
• Create and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, forecasts, and documentation in PM systems such as Unanet.
• Prepare clear technical deliverables for AHJs and project teams with minimal oversight.
• Communicate technical interpretations and compliance approaches clearly in meetings and in writing.
• Delegate technical tasks and coordinate staffing with project leaders to align budgets and schedules.
• Lead project meetings and act as primary client contact on select projects.
