Job summary

Code Red Consultants, a national fire protection and life safety firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead code consulting projects and manage client relationships. The role focuses on planning, delivery, and mentoring within a collaborative team.

You will work across the country from our hybrid offices, travel as needed, and help shape project outcomes while growing the firm’s capabilities and client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Fire Protection Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in code consulting and project management.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-profile code consulting projects to shape safer buildings nationwide.
• Develop trusted relationships with architects, owners, developers, healthcare systems, and AHJs.
• Mentor consultants and emerging project managers within the team.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables for AHJs, designers, contractors, and owners.
• Collaborate with project directors, service managers, and staff to ensure successful execution.
