Job summary

Henderson Scott US is hiring a Financial Reporting Director in San Francisco or New York, hybrid role. You will own monthly and quarterly close, build out a best-in-class technical accounting function including revenue recognition, leases, and capitalization, and drive financial reporting on new systems such as NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Must have built technical accounting positions from scratch.
• Experience owning a monthly/quarterly close and reporting to the board and audit committees.
• CPA with Big 4 public accounting background.
• Infrastructure or hardware accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Build out a technical accounting function, including revenue recognition, leases, and capitalization.
• Build out financial reporting on new systems (including NetSuite).
• Help run the external audit as the business scales 10x.
