Job summary

Pyyne Llc. is seeking a Financial Controller to join our NYC office. You will own the US entity's accounting, monthly close, and reporting, while coordinating with international teams. The role offers high ownership and strategic input to drive financial planning and board reporting.

You will lead accounting operations, payroll, billing, and compliance, reporting to the COO, with room for growth in a fast-growing tech consultancy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting with ownership of monthly close
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong QuickBooks (or comparable) and solid spreadsheet skills
• Experience with billing and collections in a services business
• Payroll experience and comfort operating without a large structured team
• Attention to detail: catch discrepancies in reconciliations and invoicing

Responsibilities

• Own US entity accounting and monthly/quarterly close
• Consolidate reporting from international entities' local providers
• Prepare close package for CPA on tax and annual accounts
• Manage client invoicing, AR and collections, AP and payments
• Run US payroll and coordinate with international providers
• Oversee benefits administration and contractor onboarding/payments
• Maintain compliance calendar including federal/state/local filings and SOC 2 prep
• Produce monthly/quarterly reporting package and operating metrics dashboard
• Maintain cash flow forecast model and ensure accurate inputs
• Handle ad hoc reporting for leadership
• Enforce corporate card policy and expense tracking
• Review vendor/software spends and optimize costs
