Job summary

You will read, interpret, and communicate clearly with patients, addressing charges, deposits, and insurance details while navigating complex billing scenarios. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree may be required as part of the qualification.
• Prior experience in hospital or insurance-related settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle exception-based pre-registration and registration for hospital visits.
• Resolve missing registration items and related authorization/coverage issues.
• Assist patients with financial questions: charges, co-pays, co-insurance, deposits, and coverage details.
• Place outbound calls to patients, providers, and insurers to resolve billing questions.
