Xcel Energy in Minneapolis seeks a Financial Analyst I for the Career Ignite program. You will assist with the development, tracking, reporting and analysis of financial information, including budgeting, forecast creation, and variance analysis.

This role supports the annual budget process and five-year forecasting, helps interpret account codes and financial reports, and prepares project status updates. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required, with internship

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Completion of finance or accounting internship preferred.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem solving, customer service, and relationship building desired.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with collecting and analyzing financial data in order to perform budgeting, variance reporting, and internal/external reports.
• Apply knowledge of financial rules and company policies to resolve issues.
• Support the team with the annual budget process and five-year forecasting.
• Provide timely and accurate assistance to clients including interpretation of account codes or financial reports and status reports.
• Participate in or support special projects as assigned.
