Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking a Department Financial Aid Project Manager to support the Financial Aid Systems team. The role focuses on tracking outstanding projects, data entry processing, and Workday implementation support.

Responsibilities include leading system projects, managing the ticketing system, auditing calendars, and coordinating training with Systems and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience working in a college or university.
• 2 years of experience in higher education administration.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative tasks.
• Experience serving in a support role within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support for outstanding system projects by coordinating necessary meetings and ensuring the delivery of agreed upon action items.
• Manage the System Team’s ticketing system to track progress and completion of outstanding requests.
• Audit the department's master calendar and seasonal initiatives as directed by the Directors.
• Attend regular meetings with office partners to gather feedback on SIS usage and system transitions.
• Distribute weekly updates to the team on issues and enhancements.
• Document knowledge transfer steps for transition to the new student information system.
• Engage with Workday Student implementation to provide user experience insights.
• Process and review an assigned set of system-generated lists.
