Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking a Project Manager to support the Financial Aid Systems team and align with the Workday implementation. The role balances coordinating long-term projects, tracking deliverables, and assisting with data entry to ensure timely completion.

The role collaborates with Systems and Compliance to organize training and resources, while cataloging business processes for new policies. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience in a college or university.
• 2 years of experience in higher education administration.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative tasks.
• Experience serving in a support role within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support for outstanding system projects by coordinating meetings and ensuring delivery of action items.
• Manage the System Team’s ticketing system to track progress and completion of requests.
• Audit adherence to the department's master calendar and support seasonal initiatives.
• Attend regular meetings to gather feedback on SIS or system transition and report status.
• Distribute weekly updates to the team about issues and enhancements.
• Document knowledge transfer steps for transitioning staff to the new student information system.
• Engage with Workday Student implementation to provide user-experience insights.
• Process and review an assigned set of system-generated lists.
• Troubleshoot system issues and brainstorm solutions with the team.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures on principal duties.
