Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience in a college or university.
  • 2 years of experience in higher education administration.
  • Experience in administrative tasks.
  • Experience in a support role within an organization.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred).
  • Experience with Banner Financial Aid Software or Workday ERP (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership support for outstanding system projects by coordinating necessary meetings and ensuring action items are delivered.
  • Manage the System Team’s ticketing system to track progress and completion of requests.
  • Support seasonal initiatives by auditing adherence to the department's master calendar.
  • Attend meetings with office partners to gather feedback on SIS or system transition and report progress.
  • Distribute weekly updates to the team on issues and enhancements.
  • Catalog staff needs to transition to the new student information system and document knowledge transfer steps.
  • Engage with Workday Student implementation to provide user-experience insights.

DepartmentFinancial AidPosition Summary:This position exists to support long term success of the Financial Aid Systems team. The position's time will be divided between two primary focuses. The first focuses on supporting the Associate Director of Financial Aid Systems with the efficient completion of long-term projects by tracking the team’s outstanding projects and ensuring that all deliverables are complete according to proactive planning. The position will at times also engage in data entry processing needed to allow the project solutions to be delivered. The Project Manager will also work with the systems team to create resources they need to maintain and organize their workload and to identify potential obstacles to completion. The second primary function of the project manager is to support the Director of Systems with the Workday implementation project. They will support these efforts by cataloging business processes of newly developed policies and procedures, as they serve as an initial user of the product under the guidance of the director.
