Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Hybrid: On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial information submitted by applicants using established federal and University standards and guidelines to determine financial needs; selects candidates and determines the type and amount of financial aid to be awarded.
• Assists in the preparation of student financial assistance policies for the University.
• Corresponds and conducts interviews with applicants and their parents, counsels students and answers inquiries from various sources on financial aid policies and procedures.
• Assists in making application for federal funds for government loan programs; administers rules and regulations set forth by the federal government concerning government funds.
• Coordinates and administers assigned financial aid programs such as the state grant programs; maintains contact with external individuals to carry out program activities; develops and implements new initiatives within assigned program areas.
• Prepares detailed reports and compiles information concerning undergraduate financial aid and assigned programs as requested by the federal government and University officials.
