University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Financial Aid Counselor to analyze applicant financial aid information, determine awards, and assist with policy preparation for federal and institutional funds. Analyzes applicant financial aid information, selects candidates, and determines awarded financial aid. Assists in financial aid policy preparation and in applications for government loan program federal funds. Conducts applicant interviews and administers assigned financial aid programs.
Most work is sedentary, completed within an office setting. Some counseling/presenting is performed at other campuses and off-campus sites. Employee must be able to move about the campus to meetings and travel to locations outside of the University of Pittsburgh. Employee may be required to carry a box of material up to 50 lbs.
