Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of experience in financial aid operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with student information systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Determine financial aid eligibility including general eligibility, verification, awarding, and disbursement working within regulations.
• Advise prospective and current students, families, and community members; analyze data to supply financial resources for student success.
• Calculate cost of attendance updates and resolve awarding errors and overpayments.
• Collaborate with Bursar and Academic Advising to prepare financing plans and ensure compliance with FERPA and federal rules.
• Perform Title IV Return of Funds calculations and manage disbursement timelines.
