Job summary

College of DuPage seeks a Financial Aid Assistant (FT) to deliver high-quality financial aid service. You will assist students and families with FAFSA, loan counseling, and verification, working at the front counter and via phone.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Two years full-time equivalent customer service experience in a compliance-driven field.
• Experience serving diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess student need and provide outstanding customer service to students, parents and the College community.
• Advise and counsel students, parents and the public regarding financial aid issues at front counter and by phone.
• Assist students with completing online FAFSA, entrance loan counseling and master promissory note.
• Document student interaction in Colleague and set up Outlook appointments.
• Contribute to development and modification of office procedures.
