Job summary

UMB Bank in Leawood, KS is seeking a seasoned investment sales professional for a hybrid, full-time role focused on proactive sales, business development, and ongoing client relationships across brokerage, insurance, and investment advisory services.

You will establish and execute sales plans to convey UMB’s investment process and products to targeted prospects, build long-term relationships, and collaborate with the service team to help clients meet their objectives.

Qualifications

• 7 years financial advisor or investment sales experience or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
• College Degree or equivalent experience.
• Licenses: FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 or 66. State Life and Health Insurance or obtained within 120 days of employment.
• Clean U-4.
• Knowledge of FINRA, SEC, state & federal laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Proactive sales, business development, and ongoing relationship involvement with prospects and clients for investment services.
• Establish and execute sales plan to convey investment process and products to targeted prospects and clients.
• Develop and build long term relationships with prospective clients.
• Partner with service team to assist clients to achieve long‑term objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel 10% in assigned territory.
