Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Rock Island, IL, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Systems Analyst to optimize financial software, analyze data, and support system troubleshooting.

You’ll audit processes across VP, EleVia, Power BI, Avalara, and FinQuery while collaborating with stakeholders to identify improvements and train users on system functionality. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/is, 2–5 years of related experience, and strong SQL/Java and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IS or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance/IS or related field (or 5+ years if not with degree).
• Experience with financial software tools and data analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit finance and accounting processes in VP, EleVia, Power BI, Avalara, FinQuery and other software.
• Meet with stakeholders to discuss findings and proposed improvements.
• Review workflows and stored procedures, discuss sunsetting or replacement options with stakeholders.
• Assist with platform performance reporting and investigate process or software issues.
• Troubleshoot, assist users, and provide training on system use.
