Job summary

IMEG in Rock Island, IL is seeking an Accounting Associate to support vendor payments, cash receipts, and data entry in a fast-paced finance team. This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with AR and TFA staff.

You will maintain payment records, resolve invoicing questions, and ensure timely vendor payments while supporting client invoicing in Therefore. This position offers ESOP ownership, a strong benefits package, and room for growth within a national

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of post-high school education or high school diploma.
• Ability to manage confidential information and vendor inquiries.
• Experience with accounts payable and cash receipts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with staff and vendors to resolve invoicing questions.
• Issue accurate and timely payments to vendors.
• Prepare vendor invoices for BOT processing.
• Prepare client invoices in Therefore for bot processing of cash receipts.
• Research files and reports to resolve vendor non-payment.
• Process payments via AP checks or ACH.
• Ensure payments are received for outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate with AR and TFA on receipt inquiries.
• File check images and maintain payment records.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, project, and client information.
