Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer in a hybrid role based in Randburg. You will manage day-to-day financial activities including budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting to support the organization's fiscal health.

The role requires 3–5 years in finance or accounting (non-profit preferred), proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Excel, and strong analytical skills. Hybrid in-office and remote work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in non-profit sector.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with timely invoicing and payments.
• Assist in annual budgeting and ongoing financial forecasts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses for management review.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls in Randburg.
