Job summary

TOGETHXR in Washington is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance team. This role entails preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling general ledgers, and supporting financial management initiatives. The position requires expertise in GL accounting and financial statement analysis.

As a hybrid position, the accountant will work both remotely and in the office, collaborating with finance management to implement process improvements. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in GL accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Public accounting or audit experience is preferred.
• Ability to assess and independently resolve issues creatively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all regional activities.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and work on outstanding items.
• Assist with audit-requested schedules and documentation.
