Job summary

SCOR invites applications for a US L&H Finance Intern position based in Charlotte, North Carolina, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on assisting the finance accounting team with journal entries and reconciliations while promoting internal controls and best practices across the US L&H Finance group.

The internship provides exposure to stakeholders across finance, actuarial and operations, with opportunities to develop documentation, control evidence, and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written and relationship building.
• Well-organized and a self-directed individual who is a team player.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain process documentation, including the identification of risks and controls.
• Ensure key controls are implemented and operating effectively.
• Capture control evidence and share with management, internal auditors and external auditors as needed.
