Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Finance Leader to oversee financial processes, reporting, and audits, with responsibility for premiums, claims, capitations, and reconciliations. The role leads system changes tied to new products, mergers, and audits, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Requires a Bachelor's in Business/Finance/Accounting, 7 years in accounting or project leadership, and 4 years of management experience. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• 7 years professional work experience in accounting and/or managing projects.
• 4 years of management experience in a business-related field or in Finance.
• Clear, concise communication with all levels of management.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
• Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, multitasking.
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial processes and internal/external reporting of premiums, claims, capitations, etc.
• Oversee communication with auditors and respond to queries about processes and procedures.
• Approve all department journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate major financial reporting system changes related to new product lines, mergers or acquisitions and oversee implementation.
