Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance or Accounting required.
• 7+ years in accounting and/or managing projects.
• 4+ years of management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication across management levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Lotus Notes handy.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial processes and internal/external reporting for premiums, claims, capitations, and related reconciliations.
• Oversee communication with auditors and respond to queries on processes and procedures.
• Provide final approval of department journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in coordinating major financial reporting system changes associated with new products, mergers, or acquisitions.
