Job summary

Wealth.com, a leading estate planning technology platform, seeks a Software Engineer, AI in the New York area. You will build production-grade, agentic AI systems, intersecting AI, product, and engineering to deliver scalable, user-facing experiences.

You’ll design multi-step workflows, integrate tools, and ensure low latency and reliable operation in a polyglot stack using Python and/or TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and clean code.
• Proven track record shipping production AI-powered systems.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript; comfortable with polyglot stacks.
• Experience with agentic or multi-step AI systems and tool integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end-to-end, turning ideas into shipped production features.
• Design architecture across AI systems, backend, and frontend.
• Build AI-powered products leveraging LLMs and real user traffic.
• Develop agentic workflows with reasoning, tool use, and outputs.
• Create AI-native user experiences with streaming and iterative workflows.
• Integrate tools and skills, collaborate with AI Infra to improve interfaces.
• Implement evaluation loops, guardrails, and performance optimizations.
• Work across the stack: backend services, data pipelines, and frontend.
