Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support construction projects for restoring, maintaining, and deploying Outside Plant fiber infrastructure (FTTx, GPON). Hybrid work location in Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV.

The role requires 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction or related fields, strong organization, and ability to travel 30–40%. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and contractors to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Telecommunications or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber network deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of underground, buried, and aerial fiber construction, and of engineering prints, schematics, and specifications.
• Familiarity with central office configurations, switching, and routing (preferred).
• Working knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Ability to travel 30–40%.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to support project planning, execution, and restoration efforts.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through invoicing/completion.
• Ensure activities align with timelines, scope, and company standards.
• Inspect site progress and verify quality of work by internal teams and contractors.
• Provide field feedback to improve design and constructability.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate project records in applicable systems.
• Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and issues.
