Job summary

Black & Veatch, a 100% ESOP-owned engineering and construction firm, is seeking an Accountant for its Federal Business. The role focuses on accurate timekeeping and expense processing for Federal professionals, ensuring policy compliance and timely reporting.

The team collaborates with Payroll, Project Accounting, and Finance on labor and expense transactions. Hybrid work arrangements are possible after the initial onboarding period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Typically 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Experience with government compliance and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit weekly timekeeping records for accuracy and compliance.
• Process and review weekly expense reports for policy compliance.
• Serve as a primary contact for timekeeping and expense inquiries.
