Job summary

Black & Veatch Federal Business seeks an Accountant to process and audit weekly Federal timesheets and expense reports, ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory standards. You will liaise with employees, Payroll, Project Accounting and Finance to ensure accurate labor and expense transactions.

The role supports a hybrid work model and involves collaborating with DoD/USACE teams on government projects while promoting safety and quality in every task.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2+ years' related experience.
• Knowledge of federal policies and government contracting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit weekly Federal employee timesheets for completeness and compliance.
• Process weekly timesheets for Federal professionals.
• Review of Federal employee expense reports for policy compliance and approval requirements.
