Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business with 8+ years in a Controller or senior financial role
• CPA, CMA or MBA or related advanced credential preferred
• Experience with GAAP, FAR, CAS and government contracting accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Ensure revenue recognition by contract and manage tax calculations
• Oversee Aged Receivables and monthly variances for billed/unbilled balances
• Coordinate year-end closing in Costpoint and support internal audits
• Oversee invoicing, provisional rates, and indirect rate negotiations
• Establish SOPs and desk procedures for the accounting team
• Ensure costs are reconciled with invoicing and assist contract close-out
• Prepare annual financial statements and board financial decks
• Manage SOX and internal control processes
• Lead critical projects and mentor direct reports
