Job summary
Under Armour in Portland, OR is seeking a Professional, Engineer Simulation to deliver engineering assessments and performance insights for footwear products using FEA and other simulation tools across design and development. You will create virtual representations, define analysis settings, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams to accelerate innovation and prototyping.
You will support testing activities, collaborate with the Innovation team, and contribute to advanced material
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Up to 3 years in Innovation/Research environment with applied use of
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) predictive engineering of consumer products.
- 3D-CAD to create and modify functional products.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate concepts and designs using first-principles and FEA to influence decisions.
- Deliver engineering assessments and design evaluations for footwear.
- Define material properties, boundary conditions, and analysis settings.
- Communicate progress, results, and recommendations to teammates.
- Support testing activities within Innovation functions.
