Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Footwear Developer II to lead collaborative development of next-generation footwear technologies.

You will prototype components, evaluate manufacturing processes, and partner with commercial teams to bring concepts to market. You will work across design, engineering and factories, maintaining documentation for IP and project parameters while coordinating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in footwear or athletic equipment industry.
• Experience in the athletic footwear industry required.
• Hybrid work arrangement in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

• Develop footwear prototypes and components for prototyping phase.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and factories to mature concepts.
• Document project parameters, performance criteria, and IP considerations.
• Support testing, wear trials, and transfer to commercialization.
