Job summary

Under Armour in Baltimore is seeking a Footwear Material Developer I to drive material innovation and support the material supply chain for performance footwear.

You will collaborate with the footwear innovation team, curate material palettes, manage supplier data, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with our sustainable and quality standards. Hybrid role with 4 in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of material development or related experience.
• Experience with material testing, sourcing or footwear product creation.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage foundational and seasonal material toolkits.
• Develop future footwear materials and processes with the innovation team.
• Coordinate data integrity for material specs and documentation.
• Manage supplier relations and organize material libraries.
• Travel to industry events to stay current on innovations.
